Surprise is a music Ranger at the Supreme Cadets Institute. He joined the team in March 2019. He is in charge of teaching and running the new Supreme Cadets Institute brass band. He is a self-taught musician who plays various instruments namely trumpet, trombone and drums. His love for music started when he was playing for his church’s brass band. He believes that in order for the music to live on, he has to pass down the talent to younger generations which is why he is involved with providing mentorship to various brass bands around Atteridgeville.
